About The Book Witch
Amélie de Beaumont-Mabee is the owner of The Book Witch.
As a lifelong reader and book lover, Amélie dreamed for years of opening up a little shop for other readers and book collectors to discover new worlds and new obsessions, for people who feel isolated or disconnected to find community and connection. Opening The Book Witch in her hometown of Mattapoisett is especially important and dear to her, as there is no other local or independent bookstore in the Tri-Town area of Mattapoisett, Marion and Rochester.
For Amélie, all books are different types of magic - so she'd like you to consider her your local village book witch.
